About Maidstone Drive Records

Maidstone Drive Records is an independent record shop built from a genuine lifelong passion for vinyl and music.

I started buying records back in 1988, and what began as a love of dance music, DJ culture and discovering new sounds has never really gone away. Over the years that collection — and that passion — has grown across house, techno, electronic, hip hop, drum & bass, jungle, soul, funk and plenty more besides.

Every record at Maidstone Drive Records is hand picked. We stock a carefully selected mix of brand new vinyl and quality second-hand records, choosing music that we genuinely think is worth owning, playing and adding to your collection.

This isn't about filling a website with thousands of random titles. The aim is to offer a collection with some personality — from well-known classics and essential albums to underground releases, limited editions, coloured vinyl and records you might not come across every day.

Packed With Care, Sent Quickly

We know what it's like waiting for a record to arrive, so orders are packed carefully and sent as quickly as possible.

UK orders are delivered using Royal Mail, with orders normally dispatched the same day or the following working day.

Every record is treated as if it were going into our own collection, with care taken over both the condition of the vinyl and the way it is packaged for delivery.

Maidstone Drive Records comes from more than 35 years of buying, collecting, playing and DJing with vinyl.

Dance music will always be at the heart of what we do, but good music doesn't stop with one genre. Our stock continues to grow and change as we find records that we think deserve a place in someone's collection.
